Dress Code
Appropriate attire is conducive to the learning environment for the individual dancer, and is required for safety of the dancers.
Pre-Ballet & Combo Classes
Pink Ballet Slippers*
Tan tap shoes for all Combo classes*
Any color leotard or tights. Black leotard and pink tights preferred for Visitation.
*Should be fitted at the studio by AODMT staff.
Ballet I and Up
Pink Ballet Slippers*
Black leotards and Pink tights ONLY.
Hair pulled back & tightly secured Ballet bun.

Tap I-III
Tan Tap Shoes (Jazz Taps are preferred for levels II & III)
Any color leotard and tights, two-piece dance outfit or leggings. We must be able to clearly see your ankles and feet!
Tap IV and Up
Tan/Black Jazz taps &/or heels. Performance shoe will depend on costume chosen, and will be confirmed in May in the recital costume book.

Tan slip on Jazz shoes. Performance shoe depends on costume chosen, and will be confirmed in May in the recital costume book.

Jazz IV-VI
Tan/Black slip on Jazz shoes. Performance shoe depends on costume chosen, and will be confirmed in May in the recital costume book.

Hip Hop
Athletic shoes that are ONLY worn in class, not as street shoes. A specific style will be required for recital costume, and will be confirmed in May in the recital costume book.
Any color jazz pants, athletic pants, leggings, tank tops, or t-shirts.
Jr. Ballroom
Ballroom shoes recommended. See instructor for appropriate style.
Any color leotard and tights, or dance attire.
